Taiji Rulers

The history of the Taiji Ruler varies; from as far back as 100AD to 920AD to 1920AD. Doesn’t matter, it’s a good practice device which helps with posture, breathing, concentration, focus, feeling, listening, whole body movement, circulation, qi balance, stance strengthening etc.

The Ruler engages a lot of circling, coiling and spiraling that is a good aid in bringing the rest of the body into a very relaxing full mind body experience.

Some claims are that it builds qi in the feet, lower back, abdomen, and hands and that it may be practiced for self-healing or to increase the power of healing touch. That’s good, and as with all other forms of movement we do in class, it still requires intentional, focused, consistent and concentrated practice to get the most benefit.

So you have to ask yourself how you measure up and you can use the Taiji Ruler to check your math.
